PRESSURE PLATE INSTALLATION

Note: Please keep the original .5m pressure-plate packaging in the event you need to return the unit for maintenance or repair. Shipping the plate in any box or container other than those designed for that purpose may result in damage. Any damage to a scanner shipped improperly will be the responsibility of the clinic. Thank you for your cooperation.

With the box oriented upwards, open the pressure plate box and remove the pressure plate. Remove the protective foam around the pressure plate as well.

Place your pressure plate on the ground where the surface is completely flat. Be sure that there is sufficient room for patients to walk before and after the plate with a natural stride.

The benefit of the .5m plate is not only its portability, but it is oftentimes easier for a patient to approach more naturally (they take fewer stutter steps or adjustments upon approach).

In the box, there will also be a Footscan security dongle. This dongle is licensed to your account and will allow you to launch the Footscan software without your pressure plate being connected to your computer.
